BODYVIVE
It’s a low impact, 55-minute class, integrating aerobic exercise
for heart fitness, resistance training for strength and stability,
and stretching and mobility work. Like the other LES MILLS™
programs, BODYVIVE™ incorporates multiple tracks of inspiring
music and is delivered by motivating instructors.
BODYVIVE™ is especially suited to active adults in there
40s, 50s and 60s who belong to health and fitness clubs. It’s
also suitable for group exercise beginners, rehabilitation and/or
anyone who will enjoy this integrated exercise class.

RPM
RPM™ is the indoor cycling workout where you ride to the
rhythm of powerful music. Take on the terrain with your inspiring
team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks,
time trials, and interval training. Discover your athlete within
– sweat and burn to reach your endorphin high. RPM™
is all about working with resistance because resistance gets results
and results is why you should come try RPM™!

BodyFlow
A Group Fitness Program that will change the way you feel about
your body forever. BODYFLOW combines traditional Eastern disciplines
with new dynamic techniques. It is designed to make you feel longer
and stronger, reduce pain and relieve stress. BODYFLOW simply makes
you feel better. BODYFLOW is often described as a journey, not a
destination. It is an opportunity to get to know your body and help
it perform better and more harmoniously.
Typically, classes contain general warm ups, followed by sections
with specific goals and target areas. For example, back and abdominal
tracks will improve the strength of your mid-section (and makes
your waist smaller), strength sections will target the legs and
upper body and flexibility sections will focus on all of our “WORK
PLACE” problem areas like the neck and lower back. The class
ends with a well-deserved relaxation section. We promise that you
leave the class relaxed, rejuvenated and ready to face the world! |

BodyAttack
BodyAttack® is the intense, sports-inspired cardio workout
for building strength and stamina. An interval training class combining
high intensity aerobics, strength and stabilization exercises, it’s
high in motivation, provided by dynamic instructors and exciting
music.

BodyCombat®
BodyCombat® is a non combat martial arts program that combines
kicks, strikes and katas from a range of self-defense disciplines
like karate, boxing and taekwondo into an hour-long energetic routine.
This program will raise your fitness level throughout your whole
body; reduce fat and cholesterol as well as shape and tone your
upper body. The music, choreography and instructor create a fun
and energetic class that is easy to follow and will leave you smiling.

Yakima Athletic Club offers CPR classes to members in the Fall
and Winter.

All classes begin at 6:30pm and finish at 9:00 pm. have a nominal
fee. These classes are for staff and members.
